Five Falls Hike

We’ll follow a forest trail along the riverbed to the main pool of the waterfall. The hike to the waterfall will take about an hour and a half, including breaks for rest, photos, and swimming. The way back will be faster, as the trail goes downhill.

At first, we’ll walk along a short paved section beside the river, then turn into the shade of the jungle and begin a gentle ascent. About every 30 minutes, we’ll stop to catch our breath, swim, and enjoy the stunning views. In the middle of the route, we’ll reach the first cascade of the waterfall. Water crashes down from a great height, the rocks are covered in moss, and the jungle almost touches the water — a place where you can walk beneath the waterfall and cool off under a natural shower.

After a short break, we’ll continue toward the third cascade. There, a natural swimming pool awaits us, along with lunch and a long relaxing break by the water. On the way back, we’ll stop by the second cascade for a group photo and a final goodbye to the waterfall before making our calm descent through the forest. The hike down will take about an hour.

Organized round-trip transportation by minibus from Da Nang is included. In the morning, the group will be picked up from two meeting points in Da Nang: My An and Son Tra. The drive to the starting point of the hike takes about 50 minutes.

• Swimwear and swimming accessories
• Lightweight sneakers, Crocs with heel straps, or sandals suitable for walking.
• A change of dry clothes for the return trip, which can be left in the minibus.
• There will be a toilet and a place to change clothes at the location.
